Which Weeknight Belongs to Which Thanksgiving Point Venue This October

October 8, 2026

If you could visit Thanksgiving Point only one evening this October, which would you pick? Most people would say Saturday. The 2026 schedule makes a case for a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Each museum on the campus has taken its own weeknight for Spooktober. Cornbelly's charges eight dollars less Monday through Thursday than on Friday or Saturday. The cheapest night isn't the quietest one, though. That would be Tuesday, Wednesday or a regular Thursday.

Today is Sunday, October 4, and Cornbelly's is closed on Sundays. Spooktober starts tomorrow morning at the farm. Here is how the rest of the month lines up.

The Week, Laid Out

Day Thanksgiving Point Spooktober Cornbelly's hours Cornbelly's general admission Frightbelly's
Monday Barnyard Boo, Curiosity Farms, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. $19.99 Open
Tuesday None 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. $19.99 Closed
Wednesday Pumpkin Glow Nights, Museum of Natural Curiosity, 5 to 8 p.m. 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. $19.99 Closed
Thursday Dinos After Dark, Museum of Ancient Life, 5 to 8 p.m. 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. $19.99 Oct. 15 and 22 only
Friday Creatures of the Night, Butterfly Biosphere, 5 to 8 p.m. 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. $27.99 Open
Saturday None 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. $27.99 Open
Sunday None Closed Closed Closed

The Spooktober programs are included with admission to each venue and free for Thanksgiving Point members. Cornbelly's runs September 21 through October 31 and stops admitting guests one hour before closing. Its tickets aren't date-specific. Each one is good for any weekday or any weekend day, depending on which you bought, and the code BELLY takes $2 off per ticket.

Monday Is Cheap and Still Busy

Cornbelly's FAQ names Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays as its busiest days. It describes Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as typically less crowded.

The FAQ doesn't say why Monday makes that list. The schedule points to a likely reason. Monday is the only weeknight that has weekday pricing and Frightbelly's, the separate haunted trail, every week. On Thursdays, the trail opens only on two dates. Frightbelly's runs September 25 through October 30. A $37.99 Frightbelly's ticket includes general admission to Cornbelly's. Entry slots start at 7 p.m. in half-hour steps, and you pick yours at the ticket window, not online. On Mondays the last slot is 9:30 p.m.

This attraction used to be called Insanity Point. Cornbelly's describes the 2026 version as 23 haunted scenes on a 30-minute trail, with a new name and "some new chills & thrills." The main corn maze isn't haunted, so a family visit on a Frightbelly's night doesn't require going through it.

Monday mornings belong to the youngest visitors. Barnyard Boo at Curiosity Farms runs 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on October 5, 12, 19 and 26. It has a train ride, pumpkin painting, a scavenger hunt and pumpkin bowling, plus Barnyard Bash dance parties at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The morning program and the evening crowd at Cornbelly's don't overlap.

Tuesday Through Thursday Is the Open Window

The quieter weeknights also have the most going on at the museums.

Tuesday has no Spooktober program, weekday pricing at Cornbelly's and no haunted trail. If the corn maze is the whole plan, this is the evening the FAQ points to. Cornbelly's recommends arriving between 4 and 6 p.m. on weekdays for a smaller crowd. The 2026 Lehi maze, "Get Lost with Dolly & the Imagination Library," takes 30 minutes or more. A shorter kiddie maze sits next to it.

The design comes from an annual Country Music Corn Maze campaign created by Utah-based The MAiZE. Cornbelly's in Lehi and Spanish Fork were among 20 farms selected to honor Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library. Cornbelly's said the mazes support her literacy program. The maze has Dolly-themed photo spots, music and trivia games about her career.

Wednesday is Pumpkin Glow Nights at the Museum of Natural Curiosity, 5 to 8 p.m. on October 7, 14, 21 and 28. Kids in costume harvest pumpkins and send them down a Thomas & Friends-themed railway. Cornbelly's is open until 10 p.m. at the weekday price, so one evening can cover both.

Thursday is Dinos After Dark at the Mountain America Museum of Ancient Life, 5 to 8 p.m. on October 8, 15, 22 and 29. The lobby becomes "Club Cryptid," with glow sticks, cryptid-themed activities and dance parties at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Two of those Thursdays don't fit the quiet pattern. Frightbelly's adds special nights on October 15 and 22. On those dates the haunted trail is open and the last slot is 9:30 p.m., the same as Monday. October 8 and October 29 are the Thursdays without it.

Friday and Saturday Are Busiest and Cost More

Friday's Spooktober program is Creatures of the Night at Butterfly Biosphere, 5 to 8 p.m. on October 9, 16, 23 and 30. It has roach races, live tarantula feedings, the Courage Cave Challenge and costume dance parties at 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. Cornbelly's general admission goes up to $27.99 on Fridays and Saturdays. Frightbelly's slots run until 10:30 p.m. on those nights.

For weekend visits, Cornbelly's suggests Friday and Saturday mornings, since it opens at 10 a.m. on those days. A Saturday morning also fits with the Scarecrow Festival at Ashton Gardens, October 12 through 17. It covers 50 acres of the gardens with scarecrows and carved pumpkins made by people in the community. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., except on October 17, when the gardens open late at 10 a.m. That's because the Scarecrow 5K takes over Ashton Gardens and Discovery Garden that morning, and runners are encouraged to wear costumes. The festival runs Monday through Saturday, so the first five days are weekdays.

If your household plans to go more than once, the numbers favor a membership. Members get every Spooktober night and the Scarecrow Festival at no extra charge. A Family Membership or higher on auto-renew also comes with a free Cornbelly's Season Pass, which Thanksgiving Point values at $100.

Eating Between 5 and 8

The evening programs start right around dinnertime, and not every campus kitchen is open then. Thanksgiving Point's dining directory lists these places.

  • Curiosity Cafe, inside the Museum of Natural Curiosity at 3605 Garden Drive, is open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's closed by the time Pumpkin Glow Nights start.
  • Brick Canvas Cafe is open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., which covers most of an evening program.
  • Ice Age Creamery is inside the Museum of Ancient Life, which is open Monday through Saturday until 8 p.m. The creamery doesn't post separate hours, so check before planning Dinos After Dark around it.
  • Harvest Restaurant has posted a 2026 fall dinner menu, and The Tower Deli & Grill has a 2026 menu. Neither lists public hours on Thanksgiving Point's site.

For a Monday morning at the farm or a Saturday at the gardens, Main Street is a short drive away. Porch Coffee at 380 E. Main St. opened in early 2026 and is open daily, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It serves pastries, bagels and toast. F'Kosh, the focaccia bakery at 60 W. Main St., opened on November 1, 2025. Its published hours vary between reports, and one says it's open until it sells out, so go early.

The Dates the City Adds

The City of Lehi has two events on days when Thanksgiving Point is already busy.

Saturday, October 10. The Lehi Power Department celebrates its 100th year from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 560 W. Glen Carter Drive. There will be generator tours, activities, food and safety demonstrations. That evening, the Fall Outdoor Movie Night at Osier Park, 385 N. Osier Ave., shows Hocus Pocus. Themed activities run from 5 to 7 p.m., with free popcorn. Both are city-run events on a Saturday, when Cornbelly's charges its higher price.

Friday, October 30. Lehi has two events called "Creatures of the Night" that evening. The city's Halloween Extravaganza runs 5 to 8 p.m. at the Legacy Center, 123 N. Center St., with games, trick-or-treating, food trucks and a showing of the family movie Home. At the same hours, Butterfly Biosphere holds its last Creatures of the Night of the season. October 30 is also the last night of Frightbelly's. Cornbelly's closes for the season after Saturday, October 31.
